meet the staff

The staff team in our Nursery unit cannot wait to welcome you to Etching Hill.

Mrs Maxfield started in education in High School as a maths teacher, so her love for all things related to numbers is already being seen in our Nursery. After a break to have her own family, Mrs Maxfield joined Etching Hill initially in a support role, and she is now absolutely relishing the challenge of teaching in Nursery.

Mrs Wilshaw has been at Etching Hill for over 20 years, and she is dedicated to supporting children in their learning, always with a huge smile on her face! Mrs Winfindale too has been at Etching Hill for a number of years, she is naturally a nurturing member of the team, helping to bring the best out in children and their learning. Together, Mrs Wilshaw and Mrs Winfindale are quite the double act!
