Mutual Respect
Part of our academy ethos and behaviour policy are based around core Christian values such as respect and responsibility and these values determine how we live as a community Etching Hill. Collective Worship is based on ‘Values for Life and themes’ and are central to how we expect everyone to go about their life are our Church of England Academy. Children and adults alike, including visitors, are challenged if they are disrespectful in any way. Values ae highly visible around the school and can be seen in posters, certificates an as part of our agreed values. Our SIAMS inspection confirms this is an aspect of life at Etching Hill C of E Primary Academy.
All members of the academy community treat each other with respect. We publish our behaviour policy on the website as well as in every classroom. Assemblies throughout the year on inspirational people, such as Martin Luther King, reflect this ethos.
